As you may be aware, the University recently implemented Blackboard 8. While we are making every effort to keep Blackboard 6 up and running during this transition time, you should be aware that Blackboard, Inc., no longer supports version 6, and the hardware version 6 is running on has grown long in the tooth and cannot be ported to new hardware. For these reasons, we’d like to strongly encourage you to move to Blackboard 8 as soon as possible. The move is simple, and takes less than five minutes.
